PRESENT PERFECT TENSE



                                           


Definition:

 The present perfect is an aspect of the  verb expressing an action that began in the past and that has recently been completed or continues into the present. Also known as the present perfective.

The present perfect is formed by combining has or have with a past participle (usually a verb ending in -d, - ed, or -n).




Structure:   Subject + Have / Has + Verb in Past Participle + Complement.

Examples :
Affirmative Form:- I have worked in a foreign company

                             - He has gone to many countries


Negative Form: -You  haven´t  eaten in an Italian Restaurant
                           
                           She hasn´t  studied very well the lesson 
       

Interrogative Form:

Yes-.No Question   -  Have You visited  Europe in these last days ?
       -Yes, I have.

       -No, I haven´t
                 
      -  Has He sung in the Opera ?

       - Yes, He has

       - No, He hasn´t

Wh Question    - Where  have  We  gone   during these vacations ?

 We have gone to Gallineral Park during these vacations


What  has He read  today ?


He has read a  novel of fiction today
